Life can get tough and overwhelming. It can feel like being submerged after a rough wave. That’s where I come in — To help you navigate the waves. As a solution-orientated therapist I am interested in exploring your strengths and resources and how we can utilize them to build solutions.
I believe a positive connection is important for the therapeutic process to be beneficial, which is why I value creating a safe environment built on collaboration, warmth, and understanding.
I am passionate about working with adults and couples who are navigating the unique challenges that arise when going through life such as depression, anxiety, grief and life's many other stressors. I am trained in Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Collaborative Therapy, and tailor my approach to your unique needs.
I believe in taking things one session at a time, learning together what works for you. I strive to make clients feel respected and heard. Our Mission
At Aligned Mind Counseling, our mission is to foster a therapeutic space where individuality is celebrated, creativity is encouraged, and personal growth is cultivated. We believe in providing a safe and inclusive space where each person's unique journey is honored and embraced. Our dedicated team of compassionate counselors are committed to guiding individuals, couples, and families towards self-discovery. We value the inherent strength within each individual, recognizing that the path to well-being is as diverse as the individuals we have the privilege to serve.
More Than Just Therapy
At AMC, we believe in offering more than just therapy. Our approach encompasses holistic care, tailored to address the unique needs of each individual. We provide a supportive environment where clients can explore personal growth, develop coping strategies, and enhance their overall well-being. Beyond therapy, we integrate various techniques and resources, including mindfulness, wellness coaching, and community-building activities, to foster a comprehensive path toward healing and self-discovery.
Lastly, we see our work as a protest to “cookie-cutter” therapist. We want to change the narrative about mental health being sterile and clean like the medical model — who strive to diagnose some kind of “illness” as a starting point for helping. We believe that therapy is a place where one should be their true authentic self and therapy should be tailored to the individual.
